  1. We just had our 40th (Class of 1970) at Castle Rock Park...what a turn out! A total smash hit, no tuxes, just casual shorts and BBQ. So fun...i hope you guys do well at your 25th.

  2. Dear YVHS Alumni,

Current students at YVHS need your help! We are working on a campus beautification project and invite you to come back to YV and help make a difference. This is a major curb appeal improvement project, and we are short on helping hands--- If you would like to help with this project, be advised of future projects, or help fund improvement projects on campus—please contact me. Thanks for your support, Teresa Torbett (YV Community Action Group) 925-788-7370 cell.

    Calling All Warriors—

Please come and help complete my Eagle Project to rejuvenate the area next to the YV tennis courts by the driveway. This patch of dirt has been sitting around for too long and I'm inviting you to help do something about it this week. This is a collaboration with the YV Community Action Group.

I have this project split into three main stages: Site preparation (digging), Installation of decomposed granite, Installation of plants

We’ll be working the following schedule:

    7/22: Thursday, 8am-12pm and 5pm-8pm, site preparation
7/23: Friday, 8am-12pm (possibly another shift from 5 – 8 pm, if I get support), site preparation
7/24: Saturday, starts at 8am, installation of decomposed granite
7/25: Sunday, starts at 8am, installation of plants

Please bring leather work gloves, and shovels (round and/or square tipped) and wear shoes that can get muddy.
As always, service credit will be given. Please email me at yvhseagleproject@gmail.com
to let me know you are coming!
